So Big Co-op Preschool was founded in 1955. It is a non-profit, non-sectarian, parent cooperative preschool with an all volunteer board of directors under the guidance of a paid teacher/director. The program is licensed by the State of California and is a member of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS). Parents are involved in classroom and administrative functions, and required participation includes classroom work 2-3 times per month per enrolled child, bi-monthly parent meetings, an administrative position, one work/repair day per school year, one move in or move out day per school year, fundraising, and participation in a school-wide fundraising/community building event.

Non-profit, non-sectarian, parent cooperative preschool in Antioch, California. Adult to student ratio is 1:4. Tuition is paid monthly from September to May. Full tuition is paid for each enrolled child. Registration fee is $55 per child per year. Field trips are taken 1-2 per month. Fundraising obligation is $100 per year for first enrolled child and $50 per year for each additional child enrolled. Accepts assisted County Agency payments.
