• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Kids and youth classes available Monday–Friday in the late afternoon, with additional adult and MMA classes offered in early morning, mid-morning, evening, and on Saturdays
Team Dumdumaya was originally formed in late 2010 in a garage that was converted into mat space, then moved to its first location in Oakley within a year, and in 2020 relocated to the industrial part of Antioch. The program is led by Andre Dumdumaya, who is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Cesar Gracie. Andre has helped teach the kids programs at both Pleasant Hill and Antioch Graciefighter academies. His motto is “It’s better to master 5 moves than to just know 20,” and his style is described as old school with an emphasis on basics and positioning, with hands-on instruction in a setting that is similar to a private seminar.
