About
Connecting Kids Summer Day Camp includes a diverse mix of age-appropriate activities, exciting on-campus events, and field trips. The program also offers a Counselor in Training (CIT) program in which CITs assist staff members in program fun and supervision of an assigned group of campers ages 6–11, and CITs are never left alone to supervise a group.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: The Counselor in Training (CIT) program runs for 10 weeks from June 3–August 5, with CITs expected to be present from 8:45am until 4:30pm; registration is by the week, and once a week is scheduled, CITs are expected to attend the full week.
• Price: The weekly fees for the Counselor in Training (CIT) program are $100.00 with a one-time $50 registration fee; Weeks 1 and 10 are $60 because they are 3-day weeks, and fees include snacks, field trips, special events, and lunch on Fridays; payments made via credit card include a 3% transaction fee, and there are no fees for using ACH with a bank account.
At New Life Community Church Connecting Kids Summer Day Camp, the stated mission is that children are one of life’s greatest gifts, and each child is truly special. The camp is described as a summer day camp designed to provide an action-packed, fun-filled experience for campers entering 1st through 8th grades. The CIT program is described as a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a difference and is open to students entering 9th through 11th grades.
The program uses an automated tuition and fee payments ACH system, and an ACH form is mandatory for all payments. Registration fees and the first week of camp fees are paid via ACH the Tuesday after registration is processed, and each additional week’s fees are paid via ACH on the Tuesday two weeks in advance of each week that the camper will attend. A $50 fee is charged for cancelled weeks. Registration for 2026 is open, and all weeks are open, subject to change, as of the last update on 2/10/26. The deadline to register for Week #1 is 9:00am on Wednesday 5/20/26, with no exceptions, and the deadline to register for any week after Week #1 is 9:00am the Wednesday before that week. The Counselor in Training (CIT) program application deadline is 3/19/26, with no exceptions, and potential CITs must fill out an application and be interviewed by the Day Camp Coordinator before the registration process begins. A Kindergarten Report Card is required for all children entering 1st grade.
A Medication Form must be completed in full by parents and returned along with the medication to the Children’s Ministries office before the first day of Day Camp, and one Medication Form is required per medication. For the Week #1 Billy Beez field trip for 1st–3rd graders, parents must complete the waiver online using the specific link provided and then forward the confirmation email from Billy Beez to [email protected] with the phone number used for the waiver. Parents are responsible to read, understand, and abide by the contents of the Parent Handbook.
