Boys & Girls Club of Placer County operates in a dedicated youth facility that is a neighborhood-based building designed solely for youth programs and activities. The Club is open every day after school, and its programs and services follow a youth development strategy that focuses on instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence in a fun and safe environment. Every Club has full and part-time trained youth development professionals, and volunteers provide key supplementary support.

Since opening its doors in 1994, Boys & Girls Club of Placer County has been described as a cornerstone of Placer County. The organization’s mission is to inspire and empower all young people who pass through its doors to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Membership dues are described as affordable, and the Club reaches out to kids who may lack access to other community programs. The Club also provides a safe, structured, and positive environment for young people after school, during holidays, and summer vacation.
