About

Boys & Girls Club of Placer County offers programs in education, character development, career exploration, sports and recreation, the arts, and community service. The program operates in a dedicated youth facility that is a neighborhood-based building designed solely for youth programs and activities. The Club is open every day after school and also operates during holidays and summer vacation in a safe, structured and positive environment for young people.

The Club has been a cornerstone of Placer County since opening its doors in 1994. Its mission is to inspire and empower all young people who pass through its doors to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The organization’s leadership team includes Randy Tooker, Chief Executive Officer; Katrina Lampman, Safety & Volunteer Coordinator; Jen Crossley, Director of Programs; Karla Tilley, Human Resource Manager; Cynthia Woods, Development and Marketing Manager; Andrea Dougherty, Director of Teen Programs; Sarah Strong, Site Director Union Pacific Railroad Clubhouse; Maddy Faulkner, Site Director EV Cain Extension; and Amanda Partain, Site Director M&M Clubhouse. The Board of Directors includes community members such as Carolyn Metzker, Matt Nadeau, Rodney Borges, Steve Galyardt, Glenn Kenes, Chris Walsh, Jeff Ambrosia, Karen Brigg, Matt Caplinger, Randy Tooker, Barbara Mackenstadt, Luke Parnell, Patti Vitas, Dave Christensen, and Carl Zamila.
