Power of Play

Power of Play teaches adults and their children through hands-on play and experiences. The program includes Happy Hours - Open Play & Music Class, What's Cookin'- Cooking Classes, Curious Creators- Science Class, Tutoring, Mini Masterpieces- Literature & Art, Personalized Childcare Services, Financial Literacy, and Babysitter Club for youth ages 11 and older.

About the provider

The program is led by Ms. Emily Mockel. Ms. Emily has over 25 years of dedicated work with children and their families. She holds multiple degrees from Early Childhood Education, Recreation and Leisure, and Family and Consumer Sciences. She is a co-founder of Kidzapalooz.org and serves on the Auburn Chief of Police Community Board and the local Chamber of Commerence. She is also a community collaborator with Auburn Recreation Department and Auburn Union School Board.

The program highlights mixed-age learning and a nurturing environment. Babysitters Club is for youth ages 11 and older.
