About
Central Coast Aquarium Camps and Programs give kids a chance to explore the Central Coast Aquarium’s Exhibit Hall, which features 14 exhibits in a small, 2-room aquarium. The program lets kids see over 250 marine creatures and more than 75 different Central Coast species that represent local marine life. Participants can learn about over 75 local species from the aquarium’s volunteer team while enjoying views of Avila Beach.

The mission of the Central Coast Aquarium nonprofit is to cultivate a community dedicated to ocean stewardship through education, engagement, and action. The Central Coast Aquarium is a small 501(c)(3) organization focused on marine science education. In addition to its permanent exhibits, it also hosts school programs, community events, science seminars, birthday parties, and weddings.
