About
Music & Art Camp includes instrument petting zoos, learning about the fundamentals of music in a game-like environment, and working on a group performance. Campers take part in collaborative music-related art projects that involve acrylic paint, child-friendly organic sculpting, and instrument building. The camp also includes an introduction of a variety of fun and rare instruments.

Music & Art Camp is part of Murrieta and Menifee’s award-winning music school, which has been serving Murrieta, Menifee, Temecula, and surrounding areas since 1990. The program is led by an Academy Director with a Doctorate of Musical Arts, and the leadership team includes Dr. Regina as Academy Director and Head of Faculty and Ms. Camryn as Assistant Director, Performing Arts. The Academy states that it is a firm believer in holistic music and arts education, and that the entire teaching team is there to support families on their journey. The school is a proud member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, is a Steinway & Sons Teaching and Educational Partner, has endorsements by the California State Assembly and California State Senate, and is the recipient of the 2023 Spectrum Student Satisfaction award. The Academy describes its Winter, Spring, and Summer Camps as award-winning, offers small camp sizes with low teacher:student ratios, and provides optional and low-pressure performances with complimentary tickets and unlimited guests. It also offers a six-week specialty Summer Guitar 101 & Piano 101 course with an in-house curriculum honed over twenty years, multiple low-pressure performances for students averaging nearly one performance every month, and a proprietary LessonRewind platform for notes, homework, sheet music, and recordings. The broader Academy features state-of-the-art facilities with fully-stocked music rooms, in-house material libraries, a professional stage, a Rock Bands program, and a Music Fun Time program backed by research from Johns Hopkins University.
The Academy of Music and Arts partners with local organizations in Murrieta, Menifee, Temecula, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, and surrounding areas, including charter schools, local nonprofit organizations, and other community organizations. It holds fundraisers and events with outside organizations including the Lakers, Walmart Foundation, Children’s Hospital Miracle Network, and Rady’s Children’s Hospital, and its Christmas Caroling Choir performs at a local nursing home to spread the joy of Christmas to elderly community members.
