PDM Stables Summer Camp includes riding instruction, horsemanship education, barn activities, daily riding lessons, grooming, horse-care activities, and games. Each week also features a Friday Mini-Horse Show and an optional potluck brunch. No equipment is required, and for beginner students the camp provides the lesson horse, saddle, bridle, helmet, and grooming supplies.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Sessions run Monday–Thursday with a shortened Friday schedule; Session 1 is June 8–12, Session 2 is July 6–10, and Session 3 is July 20–24
• Price: $450 for non-PDM students; $430 for current PDM students; a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot in camp
PDM Stables Summer Camp is part of a full-service equestrian program that has been providing quality English riding lessons for over 50 years. The program is family-operated, with four generations riding at the barn, beginning with founder Gabe Belluomini, followed by head trainer Denise, her daughter Heather, and great-granddaughter Gemma. Head trainer Denise leads the program with a lifetime of expertise, and together Denise and Heather offer over 100 years of combined experience. Assistant trainer Lilly supports new riders and is fluent in Spanish. PDM Stables states that it offers young riders a safe, fun, and hands-on introduction to the world of horses and is dedicated to building confident, capable young riders in a warm, supportive environment.
Sessions are limited to 12 riders. Lunch and snacks are provided every day. Photos are taken throughout the week and shared privately with families via Google Drive. Families and friends are welcome to attend the Friday Mini-Horse Show, which concludes the week. Deposits can be paid by cash, check, credit card, or Venmo (@Heather-Giragosian). Gift certificates are available for $50 for a one-hour lesson or a package of four for $190. The Equestrian Performance Team (EPT) is a related non-profit initiative focused on advancing equestrian excellence through education and accountability.
