Kids First Academy Preschool & Childcare Programs offers time for children to play, make new friends, and learn together. Kids First Academy Preschool & Childcare Programs is a multi-generation family owned business. The program’s stated mission is to provide a quality preschool education and childcare program, to partner with parents and keep them involved in their children’s early education and preschool-preparedness development, and to guide each child in the growth of their overall personality while providing a nurturing environment that promotes physical, mental, emotional, and social development. The program is guided by Creative Curriculum and an emergent philosophy, and the curriculum is created for the whole class and then modified based on individual capability. Teachers are described as highly qualified and effectively bilingual or multilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi. The program conducts quarterly individual assessments using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and has an in-house Early Intervention consultant if further assessment is needed.
Kids First Academy Preschool & Childcare Programs provides healthy meals that follow USDA food guidelines and are prepared in the kitchen at the preschool. Daily Digital Reports are shared with families using KidReport through emails, texts, or application notifications, and these reports can include pictures and videos. The facility is described as being in a highly secured building with recorded CCTV monitors, closed to the public, with no admittance without visual identification through a video monitoring system, and access given only to authorized individuals. The program notes a welcoming environment, active learning, creative lessons, an “AMAZING PLAYGROUND,” well qualified teachers, a specialized curriculum, nutritious meals, and shuttle service. Tours are available by appointment only. The Bay Point Campus holds License #073407406, and the Concord Campus holds License #073408952.
Transportation services are offered to and from elementary schools in the Pittsburg/Bay Point area, with door-to-door transportation available in the Pittsburg/Bay Point area. Transportation services are also offered to any students in Pittsburg of all ages, including those not enrolled in the program. To visit the Bay Point campus, families are instructed to enter “100 Gibson Avenue, Bay Point, CA 94565” into a directions provider, park along the wooden fence of the apartment complex or in front of the gate entrance, enter 002 in the secure keypad to call the office for access, and ring the doorbell in front of the school for entrance. The program states that there are two convenient East Bay locations now enrolling.
