USA Prime Peninsula offers youth baseball training, softball training, travel ball, Winter Workouts, weekly Hitting Classes, Private Lessons, and Group Classes. Players take part in activities such as weight, speed, agility, explosive movement, arm strength, arm care, core strength, velocity training, fielding fundamentals, and defensive footwork. Teams are offered from 8u to 18u.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Winter Workouts run on Sundays from December 1 through January 25 in 2-hour-and-15-minute sessions; weekly Hitting Classes run December through May with evening sessions; Spring, Summer, and Fall travel ball seasons run from February through October with regular practices and tournaments
• Price: Hitting Classes are $20 per player, with a maximum of 15 players per session

The Winter Workout program uses three 45-minute stations that focus on lower half strength, speed, agility, and explosive movement; upper half strength, arm strength, arm care, core strength, and velocity training; and fielding fundamentals and footwork, and these sessions are separated by age groups. Weekly Hitting Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6–7pm, with additional 7–8pm sessions added as they fill and the possibility of adding Wednesdays. The Spring main tournament season runs from the beginning of February through the end of April, the Summer main tournament season runs from May through the end of July, and the Fall main tournament season runs from August through the end of October. In Spring, teams generally have Sunday practices plus one weekday practice and one tournament per month, while in Summer and Fall all teams have three practices per week and 4–5 tournaments per season. Players can still participate in local leagues like Little League during the Spring season.

The coaching staff includes local college and high school coaches as well as current and former professional and college players, and all teams are coached by paid pro-coaches with no parent or volunteer coaching. USA Prime Peninsula describes itself as the Peninsula’s premier baseball and softball academy for youth players and the only fully professionally coached program for all age groups starting at 6u, with a coaching curriculum geared toward long-term success in competitive players and a focus on fundamentals-first development, athleticism, and mental-game instruction with the whole player in mind. The program states that sportsmanship, leadership, responsibility, integrity, respect, good health, mental toughness, and a sense of self-worth are key elements of growth promoted through its program. Coach Drew is part of the leadership team and is available for private lessons at 415-308-0632 or [email protected].
