Summer Musical Theater Camps

Summer Musical Theater Camps features a two-week rehearsal process and full musical production of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR. Campers rehearse and perform the show, design and create individual props and sets, play drama and improv games that introduce and reinforce acting techniques, and end with a full musical performance for friends and family. The camp also includes drama games and karaoke at a cast party.

• Ages: 6–15 years old
• Schedule: Two-week theater camps, Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, with Session 1 from June 15–26, 2026 and Session 2 from July 6–17, 2026; final performance on Thursday during the second week of each session
• Price: $960 per session through the Belmont Parks and Recreation website; price includes tuition and all material fees

Summer Musical Theater Camps is led by Executive and Artistic Director Erin Mugglebee and Education and Teambuilding Director David Mugglebee. Instructors Erin and David Mugglebee founded Mugglebee Theater after extensive experience performing, choreographing, directing, teaching theater arts courses, and leading corporate team building sessions. The program operates in partnership with Belmont Parks and Recreation. The mission of Mugglebee Theater is to turn work into play, offer a highly engaging, fun and playful collaborative experience, and help individuals and organizations gain the skills and information needed to cultivate and nurture creativity and innovation. The camp has limited space for ages 6–15, welcomes kids of all experience levels and abilities, and emphasizes a flexible, creative, nurturing, and stress-free environment where the process of creating and rehearsing together is as important as the performance.
