Berkeley Lacrosse Club is a volunteer-run, non-profit youth sports club that focuses on youth lacrosse. The club offers youth lacrosse and also does school outreach through parents and P.E. teachers.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Spring season from early February through mid-May, with practices 1–3 days per week depending on age group
The club follows age group practice schedules and game formats based on USA Lacrosse recommendations. For Spring 2026, 8U boys practice Fridays 4–5:30pm and 8U girls practice Thursdays 4–5:30pm. 10U boys practice Mondays and Fridays 4–5:30pm, and 10U girls practice Wednesdays and Fridays 4–5:30pm. 12U boys practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 4–5:30pm, and 12U girls practice Wednesdays and Fridays 4–5:30pm. 14U boys practice Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4–5:30pm until February 23, then Monday and Wednesday 5:30–7pm and Thursday 4–5:30pm starting February 23. 14U girls practice Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4–5:30pm until February 23, then Monday and Wednesday 5:30–7pm and Friday 4–5:30pm starting February 23. The season runs from early February through mid-May, with games starting in March, and all times and days are subject to change. 8U teams practice 1 day per week, 10U and 12U teams practice 2 days per week, and 14U teams practice 3 days per week.
The Berkeley Lacrosse Club was one of the first clubs established in the Bay Area. Its goal is to provide kids of almost any age, from anywhere in the East Bay, the opportunity to learn and play lacrosse. The club has a unique gear rental program for Spring 2026, and parents are grateful for loaner equipment. It offers a generous scholarship program with a limited number of need-based scholarships to make sure all kids have the chance to play lacrosse. Coaches receive Level 1 Coaching and Positive Coaching Alliance certification. The club performs school outreach through parents and P.E. teachers to create and expand awareness of the club.
