About

The Lawrence Hall of Science Camps & Programs includes in-person camps for students entering grades 1–6 that are filled with building, experimenting, and spark-filled discoveries. The program also features hands-on exhibits, live animals, an Animal Discovery Zone, an Outdoor Nature Lab, and Future of Food exhibits. In addition, it offers high-quality virtual professional learning services specifically designed to support STEM educators, leaders, and organizations, along with organizational memberships that provide access to monthly workshops and quarterly networking events. The program operates Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The mission of The Lawrence Hall of Science Camps & Programs is to foster scientific exploration with a focus on equitable learning experiences. The program collaborates with a variety of partners to design, implement, and scale effective and equitable learning experiences. Virtual workshop attendees describe feeling encouraged about using questioning strategies from the program, note the pacing and chance to participate as learners, and report positive feedback from teachers that they connect to professional development received through the program’s leadership institute and professional learning sessions.
