• Ages: 9–15 years old
• Schedule: Week-long camp, July 12–19, 2026
Redwood Creek Summer Camp is operated by the Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and serves the Redwood region, including the North Coast and beyond. The camp is accredited with the American Camp Association. All staff are required to complete background checks and special training in order to fill their positions. Redwood Creek Camp started in the late 1930s on land owned by Oliver Cookson and has operated for over 75 years, making it one of the longest operating Adventist camps in the world. One of the first Redwood Creek Camp directors was Eric B. Hare, a noted missionary and storyteller.
The camp’s stated purpose is to provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn about Jesus, and children of any race or belief system are welcome to attend. Camper comments mention enjoying the food, skits, campfire, and activities, and several campers describe the staff as kind-hearted, caring, and welcoming. Some campers report feeling safe, watched, and heard, and one camper notes that staff helped with a fear of speaking up.
