About
Rawhide Ranch Summer Overnight Camp includes western riding lessons, equestrian vaulting (gymnastics on horseback), animal and horse science classes, and animal care time. Campers also have access to a pool and water slide, a rock climbing wall, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, and various sports and games. Evening and group activities include harnessing pony carts, campfires, camp-wide games such as Capture the Flag, skit night, and a cabin talent night.

Rawhide Ranch Summer Overnight Camp is described as a kids’ camp straight out of the Wild West where campers learn about horses and livestock. The riding program is geared for beginning and intermediate riders. Each camper is assigned to a cabin with campers in the same age group, and some campers arrive with a friend from home while others arrive ready to make new friends. Themed overnight camp sessions include options such as Lost in Space, Disco, Color Craze/Color Wars, Neon 90’s, and Beach Bash. There is no weekend stay-over option, and all campers must leave the ranch between summer camp sessions. Scholarship applications must be complete and returned by May 1, 2026, and discounts do not apply to day camp.
The camp’s mission statement says that campers at Rawhide learn about horses and livestock while discovering the importance of integrity, respect, hard work, and the value of community.
