Summer Day Camps

Summer Day Camp includes activities where campers learn about space, get creative in the kitchen, design their own fashion line, build robots, and take center stage in performance-based activities. The program also includes games that focus on creativity, teamwork, and adventure.

YMCA of Silicon Valley operates Summer Day Camp as part of its mission as a not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The Day Camp staff are trained professionals dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment conducive to each camper's growth and learning. YMCA of Silicon Valley has been listening and responding to social needs in the community for over 150 years and is accredited by the American Camp Association. The organization also offers a wilderness resident camp in the Redwoods at YMCA Camp Campbell and provides dozens of day camp options, with financial assistance available for families in great need to help youth access summer experiences. As the leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in the region, the Y describes itself as a powerful association of diverse people joined by a shared passion to strengthen the Silicon Valley community. John T. Ehrbar is identified as YMCA of Silicon Valley's next President and Chief Executive Officer.
