Brentwood Pony Baseball & Softball League is a youth baseball and softball organization in east Contra Costa County that invites players from any city in the area to join for recreational, competitive, and instructional fun. The organization hosts ages 4–18 in 11 divisions and has a player base of, on average, up to 1200 players each spring season. It is a completely volunteer run organization, and all managers, coaches, board members, and personnel are volunteers.

New for Fall 2026, the league is introducing competitive games for Bronco and Pony divisions for both baseball and softball, with evaluations, a draft, and a professional umpire staff. For Fall 2026, fall registration closes August 2nd, evaluations for competitive divisions are on August 16th, the draft for competitive divisions is the week of August 17th, first practices are the week of August 23rd, the first game is August 30th, and the final game is the week of October 18th. Players will have the option to return to their previous coach from the spring, and players will not be given the option to return to their fall team next spring unless they have played for that team previously.

Games are officiated by an in-house umpire program with youth and adult umpires, and older divisions (13–18) are umpired by the Contra Costa Umpire’s Association. The in-house umpire program is an educational training program to help youth umpires learn the art of umpiring, and youth and adult umpires are trained and coached by CCSUA umpires and veteran umpires from the in-house program.

PONY National has moved the softball age cutoff dates from December 31st to August 31st, and some players will be eligible for a third season in their previous division but will be able to play up one division. There is a planned pilot inter-league play program for Bronco (12U) and Pony (14U) divisions with Pleasant Hill, Livermore, Martinez, and others, with a plan for home divisional games during the week and games against other leagues on Saturdays, with half of the Saturdays in Brentwood and half traveling. The league is a completely volunteer run organization of community members from all over the county and is in discussions with surrounding softball leagues to offer inter-league play. The website is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and is owned by and subject to the Brentwood Pony Baseball & Softball League privacy policy.
