Guitarlina School of Music is a private family owned Christian music school founded in 2010. Its vision is to raise leaders through excellence in music education, with a goal to help every child develop a genuine love for music and to grow in skill and the expression of musical talents to positively impact communities. The school uses and provides age-appropriate materials to teach music theory and instrumental techniques, primarily uses the Faber series for piano students, and uses the same texts used in band class in most schools.

Guitarlina School of Music provides music lessons to neighboring elementary and middle schools in the Brentwood, Oakley, and Knightsen school districts. It partners with government agencies and local establishments to provide musical instruments, music lessons, or musical performances, and supplies musical instruments, accessories, and musical texts and games to interested individuals and organizations.

For the Annual Christmas Concert, participating students need a concert t-shirt, which can be paired with any bottoms, and the deadline to purchase concert t-shirts for the performing student is November 25th. One parent shared, “I’m so happy we found Guitarlina School of Music! My daughter is actually excited, engaged and learning to play and sing.”
