SOL Dance Lab offers a wide range of in-person dance classes, including Introduction to Dance, Pre-Dance, My First Time Dancing, Pre-K/Kinder, A Class of My Own, Boys Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Urban Dance, Tap, Dance Conditioning, Dance Technique, and Adult Ballet. Classes are available for beginning and intermediate dancers as well as intermediate and advanced dancers, and levels may be combined as a strategy to challenge each level and help individuals improve. Adult Ballet is open to all levels and does not require specific attire, and participants can come as they are.

Pre-Dance classes for ages 5 to 7 build fundamental techniques and explore dance styles. A Class of My Own is a creative movement experience for children with autism, sensory sensitivities, and other special needs, with a focus on joy, music, and movement. My First Time Dancing is for children aged 3.5 to 4, and Pre-K/Kinder classes for ages 4 to 5 build on First Time Dancing with more structured techniques, fun, and creativity. Boys Dance focuses on strength, conditioning, diverse techniques, coordination, performance skills, diverse styles of dance, and teamwork.
SOL Dance Lab is led by Jesus Solorio, whose dance training includes ballet, jazz, tap, modern, ballroom, hip hop, Latin, pop, disco, and various street dance styles. Jesus and his wife and daughter have lived in the Santa Ynez Valley since 2011. SOL Dance Lab states that it is bringing creativity, professional experience and passion for the dance arts to Buellton, California. The program’s mission states a belief in the power of dance to transcend boundaries and create a more harmonious and beautiful world, one movement at a time, and it describes a commitment to nurturing and training dancers who are technically proficient and artistically innovative in an inclusive environment. The mission also states a goal to inspire, elevate, and transform dancers into artists who can touch the souls of audiences in the community and leave a mark on the world of dance.
