Zaca Center Preschool serves children ages 2 to 5 in a full inclusion preschool program. Children spend a substantial portion of each day outdoors and take part in activities such as collecting insects, working in the garden, mud kitchens, outdoor writing centers, water play, and using real tools. The program offers full-day, half-day, three-quarter day, and early half day with lunch schedules, and tuition is billed monthly in advance through Brightwheel.

About the provider
Zaca Center Preschool has been in operation since February 1996. It serves preschool children and their families in a full inclusion, high quality educational environment and uses a play-based, anti-biased curriculum. The program is recognized as a Demonstration Site for the Outdoor Classroom Project, a Partner Site for the California Teaching Pyramid, and a Green Care Provider by the Green Care for Children Organization of Santa Barbara. It also serves families throughout the Santa Ynez Valley, Lompoc, Santa Maria, and the Gaviota Coast.
Full inclusion program. Supports children with special needs. Uses a play-based, anti-biased curriculum. Practicing green habits including recycling, composting, water and energy conservation, and pesticide-free gardening. Tuition is billed monthly in advance through Brightwheel. School year runs August through June; closed in July.
