Kohl Mansion has 63 rooms, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and has been used as a filming location for “Little Lord Fauntleroy” and the movie “Flubber.” The Mercy High School campus is located on 40 acres of land, and Kohl Mansion is also used for private events such as weddings, social gatherings, holiday parties, and corporate meetings.
Mercy Summer Programs are connected to Mercy High School’s mission as a Catholic college preparatory school sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, which states a commitment to educating young women of diverse backgrounds, reverencing the dignity of each person, creating a community of hospitality, leading with integrity and compassion, striving for excellence, and proclaiming Gospel values in word and action. Music at Kohl Mansion also presents world-class chamber concerts in the historic mansion and offers music education in public schools on the San Francisco Peninsula.
