St. Paul's Nursery School

St. Paul's Nursery School is a non-religious co-op that uses play-based learning and parent participation. Families work at the school once every other week, and the program includes family fundraising, school jobs, maintenance hours, and parent education. Juniors are for children age 3 by September 1st and offer 3-day or 5-day schedules from 9:00am-12:00pm, with an option to attend Lunch Bunch. Seniors are for children age 4 by September 1st and meet Monday through Friday, with M-Th 9:00am-1:00pm and Friday 9:00am-12:00pm, plus an optional Extended Care add-on from 1:00pm-2:00pm Monday-Thursday.

About the provider

St. Paul's Nursery School was founded in 1950 and has served children in the community since then. It is founded on beliefs outlined by the National Association of the Education of the Young Child (NAEYC) and is a proud member of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools. The school says it focuses on play-based learning and on developing children's social, emotional, and pre-academic skills to prepare for Kindergarten and beyond.
