Hearts and Hands Preschool is the only non profit preschool in Calistoga. The program has expanded to include day care for two-year-olds. Applications in English and Spanish are available, and Hearts and Hands has a full bilingual staff.
• Ages: 2–5 years old
• Schedule: Call or come by Monday–Friday between 8am–12pm or 2:30–5pm to pick up applications.
Hearts and Hands Preschool states its mission as cultivating a community of families and teachers working together to provide a safe, stimulating and positive environment that enhances and fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, creative and social development of each child. The preschool reports that 80% of its students receive scholarships. Hearts and Hands Preschool is working with Calistoga's Joint Unified School District to provide Extended Learning Opportunities, also known as the After School Program, to all of Calistoga's Transitional Kindergarten children.
