Enlightened Learning Tutoring and Art Center

Enlightened Learning Tutoring and Art Center offers tutoring in private and group formats along with weekly art classes that include painting, clay, and ceramics. The program also runs themed art camps such as Jungle Art Camp and Under the Sea Art Camp, as well as a STEAM Camp focused on water systems. Additional options include science classes, PODS, chess classes and clubs, theater, and adult classes.

Enlightened Learning has been supporting Ventura County families in education since 2016. The center is a mom-owned learning center in Ventura County and has been proudly serving families for over 10 years. The leadership team includes Heather, Jade, Dawn, Elaina, Alona, and Sara.

Instructors at Enlightened Learning Tutoring and Art Center range from seasoned, credentialed teachers to local collegiate educators. The center is rooted in the community and partnered with local charter schools, and describes itself as locally grown and community driven. The program offers tutoring, homeschool pods, creative classes, and enrichment programs, and tutors incorporate each student's individual learning style in the educational process. The center focuses on coming alongside each student to identify areas of struggle, fill in missing links, support understanding of concepts, and address core life skills such as organization and time management.

One parent, Stacy, reports that her three children have attended the tutoring center and that her son’s grades changed from failing to A and B grades, along with improved organizational skills. Another parent, Adrienne, shares that her three boys attended several sessions of art camp and enjoyed the program and the artwork they brought home. A third parent, Kimberly, notes that her daughter enjoys weekly art classes that focus on different art concepts, use many different mediums, and include preparing pieces for an art show at Enlightened Learning.
