Enlightened Learning Tutoring and Art Center

Enlightened Learning Tutoring and Art Center offers tutoring in private and group formats along with a range of art, clay, and ceramic classes. The program also includes science classes, PODS, chess classes and clubs, theater, adult classes, spring camp options, homeschool pods, creative classes, enrichment programs, painting, art camp, and weekly art classes.

Enlightened Learning Tutoring and Art Center has been supporting Ventura County families in education since 2016. The center is a mom-owned learning center that is locally grown, community driven, and rooted in community and partnered with local charter schools. The leadership team includes Heather, Jade, Dawn, Elaina, Alona, and Sara. Instructors at the center range from seasoned, credentialed teachers to local collegiate educators. The program is dedicated to helping identify areas in which students struggle, helping students fill in missing links, understand concepts, build confidence, and develop core life skills such as organization and time management, and tutors incorporate each student's individual learning style in the educational process while also supporting students with special learning needs. One parent shared that their three children attended the tutoring center and that one child’s grades improved from failing to A and B grades, with increased confidence in math and better organizational skills. Another parent described the art center as a hidden gem where their three boys attended several sessions of art camp and brought home many creations. A third parent noted that their daughter enjoys her weekly art classes, learns a different art concept each week, has used many different mediums, and is preparing pieces for an art show at Enlightened Learning.
