About
JALGOLF Junior Golf Programs offers full swing, chipping, putting, and on course instruction, along with a PGA Junior League, monthly junior golf clinics, summer camp, private junior lessons, private adult lessons, and group lessons. The program uses the JC Video ARC-30 System and software and the Foresight Sports GC2 Launch Monitor during instruction.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: PGA Junior League runs March–May with 9 team practices, 2 home matches, and 2 away matches, held Tuesdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m.; monthly junior golf clinics meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00–5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00–10:00 a.m.; private and group lessons are available Monday–Saturday throughout the day; private junior lessons are offered in 30-minute and 1-hour sessions, and private adult lessons are 1 hour; packages of six 1-hour lessons are available for juniors and adults.
• Price: Private junior lessons cost $75 for 1 hour or $40 for 30 minutes; a package of six 1-hour junior lessons is $400; private adult lessons cost $95 for 1 hour, and a package of six 1-hour adult lessons is $550; PGA Junior League registration is $475 and includes home and away uniform and hat; the monthly junior golf clinic is $100 per month for 4 sessions, with prorated rates of $25 per child per session if a student does not attend all four sessions.
The PGA Junior League is open to students ages 6–13, and the monthly junior golf clinic and Summer Camp 2026 are open to students ages 6–16. Clubs are available to borrow for junior golf clinics and for those who need them for summer camp, and group lessons are available upon request. Private and group lessons are available to adults and juniors at their convenience.
The instructor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 1997, started playing golf at age 11, became a nationally ranked junior golfer within five years, and accepted a golf scholarship to play for California State University, Northridge. The instructor played professional golf in tours in Australia, Canada, and across the United States, began teaching golf in 2001, currently serves as the Director of Instruction at Camarillo Springs Golf Course, and has given over 20,000 golf lessons. Jacob is the contact for lessons, PGA Junior League, and scheduling and serves as the Director of Instruction at Camarillo Springs Golf Course.
The instructor’s stated approach is that fundamentals are the basis for a consistent, efficient swing, working with the student’s existing swing to create matchups that make the swing simple and repeatable in a fun and creative learning environment.
