About

JALGOLF Junior Golf Programs offers professional golf instruction that includes full swing, chipping, putting, and on course instruction. The program includes PGA Junior League, junior golf clinics, a Spring Break Junior Camp, private junior lessons, private adult lessons, and group lessons. State of the art JC Video ARC-30 System and software and a Foresight Sports GC2 Launch Monitor are used so students can see what they are doing and track face angle, ball flight, centerness of contact (smash factor), swing, and ball speed.

Jacob serves as the Director of Instruction and began playing golf at age 11, became a nationally ranked junior golfer within 5 years, and accepted a golf scholarship to play for California State University, Northridge, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 1997. He went on to play professional golf in tours in Australia, Canada, and across the United States, began teaching golf in 2001, and has given over 20,000 golf lessons. His stated approach is that fundamentals are the basis for a consistent, efficient swing, and he works with the student’s existing swing to create matchups that make the swing simple and repeatable in a fun and creative learning environment.

Clubs are available to borrow for those who do not have their own clubs for clinics and for those who need them for the Spring Break Junior Camp. The program partners with PGA Junior League.
