About
Aloha Swimming offers swim lessons that include work on technique, Jr Guard Prep, water polo, adult swim and exercise, and aqua swim and exercise. Each session includes 5 minutes of free play before swim lessons in a private pool with three lanes that is 50 feet by 21 feet and 3 to 6 feet deep. The pool uses UV and ozone sanitation, is a salt pool heated between 88 and 92 degrees, and has stroller and wheelchair access from rear parking off Via Serra.
• Schedule: All sessions are 4 weeks long, with 2026 session dates running from March 2 through December 4 in consecutive 4-week blocks.
Aloha Swimming states that its goal is to promote water safety, enjoyment, health, and fitness through aquatic activities and sports, using a positive method of teaching and coaching and emphasizing proper skills from the beginning as a foundation for progressing at each level. The program notes that swimming is not just a summer activity but a lifetime skill and an excellent cross-training method for those who participate in other sports. Copyright information shows Aloha Swimming in Capo Beach dating back to 2011, and the program is hiring certified experienced instructors. Registration procedures, forms, and COVID-19 policies and rules for enrollment are available on the registration page.
One parent, Christine, reports that her children learned more in two lessons with instructor Joy than they had in two months at a previous swim program and that they are now proficient swimmers who know how to swim all their strokes properly. Another parent, Karen, describes walking into the Aloha Swimming facility and seeing a beautiful pool that felt peaceful and comfortable, and says her daughter enjoys the warm water and toys and is always excited for her next lesson.
