Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson After-School & Summer Programs offers a Summer Day Camp that runs on weekdays with full-day and afternoon schedules, depending on the school site. The program includes after-school and summer programming during and after school in Carson, Gardena, Watts, and South Los Angeles for youth ages 6–18 years old.

• Price: $100/Week per Member, with a one-time $25 Registration Fee; scholarships available
The Summer Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am–6:00pm between June 17, 2025 and July 25, 2025, with a separate schedule at Dolores Street Elementary School from June 17, 2025 to July 18, 2025 (12:00pm–6:00pm) and from July 21, 2025 to July 25, 2025 (8:00am–6:00pm). Students must be enrolled in an LAUSD school during 2024–2025 to attend the Summer Day Camp, and a parent or guardian must submit one application per LAUSD student for enrollment in the Summer Day Camp. The Club is a nonprofit organization with after-school programs in Carson, Gardena, and South Los Angeles serving nearly 5,000 elementary, middle, and high school youth each day.
Since 1992, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson has been a safe, fun and welcoming place after school for youth. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is to offer young people a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves, dedicated adult mentors who respect and listen to them, and outcome-based programs that empower youth to become lifelong learners. The organization provides welcoming, positive environments in which kids and teens have fun, participate in life-changing programs, and build supportive relationships with peers and caring adults. The leadership team includes President/Board Chair Jacquelyn Thomas (Community Volunteer), Vice President Shireese Johnson (Community Volunteer), Secretary Lori Henderson (Northrop Grumman), and Treasurer Roger von Ting (Watson Land Company). Nina was honored with the National Newcomer Excellence Award in Resource Development in 2024 by Boys & Girls Clubs of America for her outstanding contributions in fundraising.
The organization reports that it is fortunate to partner with dedicated community, corporate, and foundation partners who invest in its programs to help create the leaders of tomorrow.
