Open Water Swimming focuses on open water swimming in a lagoon setting. This class gives competitive swimmers a chance to swim in an open water setting on the Lagoon within a larger state recreation area that includes 29 miles of shoreline. Swimming is only allowed during the summer season at the Lower Lake Lagoon, and the swimming season on Lower Lake runs from mid-May to mid-September.
