Footnotes Dance Studio offers Mini Mvers + Parent, a 30-minute class for 18 months to 2.5 years that introduces young dancers to their first classroom experience with a parent or caregiver participating. It also offers Mvment, a 30-minute playful combo class blending ballet and tap; FUNdamental, a 45-minute class blending ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop; Academy Classes in jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, and tap; Production Performance with large-scale theatrical productions; and Elite Jazz Co., a performance-based jazz program.

• Academy Classes — 7 yrs & up · 45 min class · $60 per month · Classes offered: Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap.
• Production Performance — 6 yrs + · 45 - 60 min class · $60–$66 per month · Large-scale theatrical productions; placement auditions required for enrollment.
• Elite Jazz Co. Performance — 5.5+ · 60 min class · $70 per month · Performance-based jazz program; placement is determined through auditions or instructor recommendation.

About the provider

Footnotes Dance Studio was founded on the belief that every child deserves a stage and has been a trusted part of the community for 30 years. Its mission is to develop students through dance, unlock potential, and empower children to succeed on every stage of life.

Enrollment closes once remaining classes reach capacity. Monthly billing is automatic on the 20th. Registration fee is $40 per dancer per season and non-refundable. $2 multi-class discount applies. No credit or refunds for missed classes due to illness, local holidays, or personal schedule changes. To drop a class, notify by the 15th of the month. Late fee is $15 after the 25th. If unpaid after 30 days, participation is suspended. Annual recital shows are held in June at the Gallo Theater in Modesto; most dancers perform in two shows, ages 3 and under typically in one show.
