About
Central California Child Development Services, Inc. (CCCDS) Child Development Programs offer activities where children solve problems, explore new ideas, practice new skills, and discover answers to questions. Children attend in a prepared environment that addresses each child’s individual needs through goals and curriculum. The environment, activities, and interactions are based on developmentally appropriate practice and knowledge of each child, and the program philosophy, goals, and objectives address social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical needs.

Central California Child Development Services, Inc. is a private non-profit organization whose single purpose is to provide comprehensive, high quality child development services to income qualifying families. CCCDS provides comprehensive child development services for children from 6 weeks through 5 years of age and operates more than fifteen centers. All centers are licensed by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing. The mission of Central California Child Development Services, Inc. states that it is committed to providing high quality childcare in partnership with families, with parents and staff working together to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that promotes development toward each child’s fullest potential, and to support parents to achieve their family’s goals.
Central California Child Development Services, Inc. (formerly Stanislaus County Child and Infant Care Association, Inc.) has been providing child development services since 1984. In March 1984, SCCICA was awarded a contract to sponsor a child care and development program for migrant farm workers and has served children and families continually since May 1984.
All CCCDS employees meet the necessary education and experience requirements as required by the state and funding sources. They are required to have a physical exam, TB test, and are fingerprinted for criminal clearance prior to beginning employment. The leadership team includes Executive Director Concha Alvarez and a Board of Directors roster that includes Maria Quintero, President and Former Head Start Parent; Nancy Cook, Vice President and Child Development Expert; Danielle Waite, Secretary/Treasurer and Child Development Expert; Michael Noguera, Member-At-Large and Attorney; Osvaldo Camberos, Member-At-Large and Former Head Start Parent; and Chong Moua, Member-At-Large and Attorney.
CCCDS is a delegate/sub-contractor agency of the Stanislaus County Office of Education and receives state, federal, and local funding to serve families in need of child development services. Families must live or work in Stanislaus and Merced Counties. CCCDS participates in the Child Care Food Program (CCFP). There is a board of elected directors and a policy committee of elected parents that serve as the governing body for the agency, and there is a policy committee of elected parents that serves as part of the governing body for the agency.
