Sonshine Pre-school offers a carefully supervised and balanced program that includes play, reading readiness, math concepts, music appreciation, body rhythmic activities, stories, creative art, science, and health. The curriculum follows a progressive planned sequence that begins in the 2-year-old class and continues progressively through Pre-Kindergarten. Nutrition is described as a very important part of the program, with a nutritious lunch and morning and afternoon snacks included in the full and 5 half day programs, and lunches provided to all full time children.

The program is described as an outreach of Christian love and service to the families and children of the community, and the school states “we build lives for eternity.”
Each member of the staff has been employed as a qualified and competent person to provide loving and understanding care of each child. The Director or pastor of the church is available for counseling either the child or the parent if desired. The school is licensed under the authority and supervision of the state Department of Social Services, Facility #191597606, and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.
Sonshine Pre-school has equipped the campus with the iWave-C Air Cleaner System, which is described as a revolutionary self-cleaning, no maintenance air purification system using patented cold plasma technology. Lunch count is taken by 10:00 am, and parents are asked to phone the office if their child will arrive later than 10:00 am. Parents are asked to provide their child with a nutritious breakfast before coming to school, and they can bring a breakfast or food item up to 8:00 am, and parents are asked not to send candy and gum with their child. Children from the age of 2 years through 5 years of age may apply for admission regardless of race, color or religion. The program states that it provides an educational experience in a happy, loving and Christian environment and aims to aid in the social, physical, intellectual, spiritual and emotional development of each child.
