About

CCCT Summer Camps gives campers time each day to build acting skills, sing, and dance. During each camp, students work together to build a show from the ground up, ending the week with performances for family and friends.

• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Each week-long camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.
• Price: The cost of each camp is $300.

On Friday of each camp, students present two performances for family and friends, with two tickets provided per student. Campers receive a colorful camp shirt and bring their own sack lunch each day. Professional teachers, junior counselors, and the camp director are with the campers every day, and the teachers are trained, certified, and active professionals in the theatre community. Chino Community Children’s Theatre, which runs CCCT Summer Camps, was founded in 1984 and is led by the CCCT Board of Directors: Jessie Pyle (Chair), Kathy Miller, Debra Barbin, and Karen Larson. The organization states that its mission is to involve children and their families in theatre arts, with a goal to educate and entertain in an environment of mutual respect for all ages and abilities, and it describes its role as educating and entertaining the youth of the Greater Chino Community in theatre arts. The program’s credentials include being the Region 8 AACTFest Representative in 1995 for “A Few Good Men,” multiple Chino Champion Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Live Theatre from 2017 through 2025, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin Readers’ Choice Awards as a Live Theatre Favorite in 2017, 2018, 2024, and 2025, and recognition in 2024 for Best Kids Camp and Best Kids Entertainment.
