Family Learning Lab & Co-School

Family Learning Lab & Co-School offers Kinder Hour, a full-hour circle time class that includes calendar, phonics, math, geography, stories, and songs. It also offers MESSA Lab, a full-hour homeroom-style class focused on community group learning skills. Kinder Hour is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm, and MESSA Lab is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30 am for Grades 1-2 and at 2:00 pm for Grades 3-5.

About the provider

Family Learning Lab & Co-School is a community focused non-profit serving families in Citrus Heights and the greater Sacramento area. The center is designed for ages 4 to 12, and its regular classes and programming do not require reservations or pre-bookings. Parents stay on site, and there are no drop-off services.

All children ages 3 to 17 must have a valid pass or be attending a paid class to enter the building. Children 2 and under are free with a paid sibling. Some classes have limited capacity. Charter vouchers may be used for Kinder Hour and MESSA Lab, among others. Vouchers must be redeemed within 30 days of receipt. The center is designed for ages 4 to 12, but younger children may be brought in if the parent completes a waiver, understands the risks, and monitors them closely.
