Clayton Children's Center

Clayton Children's Center offers a full time program for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old classes, a half day TK/4's program, two year olds on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, three year olds Monday through Friday, four year olds, and an after school program for kindergarten through 2nd grade. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and the schedule is open year round, including school holidays and minimum days, with closure the week of Christmas.

About the provider

Clayton Children's Center has served the community for over 40 years and has been part of the Clayton Community since 1980. The director is Mrs. Sandy McCracken. The center says it has a unique and stimulating curriculum that encourages creativity, social development, and skill building. It is licensed by the state of California, and staff are CPR/First Aid trained, ECE educated and experienced, and have passed a Criminal Background Check. The center also lists special events such as Friendship Day, Read Across America, Earth Day, Pre-K Graduation, and Holiday Celebrations.

Open year round including school holidays and minimum days. Closed the week of Christmas. School is licensed by the state of California. Teachers conduct secure pick up procedures and a name-to-face attendance check of every student. Monthly fire and earthquake drills are conducted.
