Oakhurst Country Club Junior Sports Programs include golf, tennis, swimming, junior tennis clinics, a junior golf academy, junior aquatics, pickleball, and private or group sports lessons for juniors and adults. The program offers junior tennis clinics, a Junior Golf Academy, and a Junior Aquatics program as part of its junior sports options. Oakhurst Country Club’s tennis program is led by a team of USPTA-certified teaching professionals who provide group and private lessons and clinics for both juniors and adults. The Junior Tennis Clinics promote fitness, longevity, heart, muscle and bone strength, hand-eye coordination, enjoyment of family and friends, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Junior Golf Academy includes full swing and short game lessons, application of skills on the golf course, and score keeping. The Junior Aquatics program focuses on nurturing participants’ needs, instilling lifelong values, encouraging individual and teamwork ethics, providing opportunities to achieve full potential, and increasing team spirit and pride. Oakhurst Country Club states that it is dedicated to providing members and their guests with a superlative private club experience through outstanding amenities and personalized service. The club leadership team includes Bobby Fuller (Director, Sales and Marketing), Stephanie Keeler (Events & Catering Manager), Brianna Lopez (Member Relations), Dustin Garrehy (Golf Pro), Jacob Ortega (Tennis Pro), Noreen Rognlien (General Manager), Johnny Vaughn (Golf Course Superintendent), Ryne Dinglasan (Executive Chef), and Kimberly Louie (Front of House Manager). The club’s golf course was named the “Best New Course in Northern California” by California Golf magazine when it opened in 1990. Oakhurst seniors participate in the BASA (Bay Area Senior Golf Association) program, which includes most of the country clubs in the Bay Area and offers home and away events throughout the summer with reciprocal play at over 20 country clubs.
