Cloverdale Ponytail League offers Summer League Softball for girls, along with Pitching and Skills Clinics and Spring Clinics focused on general skills. The program also includes participation in Citrus Fair Parade Day with a Cloverdale Ponytail League float.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: The CPL Summer Softball Season 2026 runs for 8 weeks from June 8–July 30, with all games 1–2 nights per week on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Thursdays depending on teams and schedules, and no weekend games. The Season of Play for 2025 runs from June 9–July 31, with game schedules that typically include 2 nights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays.
• Price: Early Bird Registration $80 from 2/2/26–3/6/26, Regular Registration $120 from 3/7/26–4/19/26. Early Bird Registration January 13–March 1 includes a $40 discount, Regular Registration March 2–April 1 is $120, and Late Registration after April 15 has a late fee added. The regular registration fee is $120, and additional family members get a $25 discount per registration.
Cloverdale Ponytail League is an all girls league that has been active and offering Summer League Softball for more than 45 years, and has been active for nearly 50 years teaching girls in Cloverdale and surrounding communities the skills and fun of softball. Its mission is to provide a positive learning experience to players from the town and surrounding communities through a network of volunteer coaches and community sponsors, and to teach and enhance softball skills, regardless of ability, through positive attitude and effort. Volunteer coaches are described as the heart of the organization.
Players can join the Citrus Fair Parade to represent Cloverdale Ponytail League and its all girls league that has been part of the Cloverdale community for over 50 years. The league is run fully with volunteers and sponsorships from the community, including board members, volunteer coaching crews, and local businesses and community members, and the league states that its nearly 50-year run would not be possible without this support. Cloverdale Ponytail League expresses gratitude for being part of a community that steps up consistently for local youth.
