Encore Dance Theatre

Encore Dance Theatre offers Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Lyrical. It also offers Adult Classes with Tap and soon Hip Hop, Encore Company, Teen Tap, Strength & Tech, and All Abilities Dance "Blake's Class" for ages 4-14.

Programs

• Ballet — The core foundation of dance. Required discipline for Tiny Dancers through Primary 3 as well as Jazz and Musical Theatre.
• Jazz — Traditional, upbeat, technical. A continuation of Ballet technique.
• Hip Hop — Vibrant and evolutionary. A great way for students to explore natural movement and rhythm.
• Musical Theatre — Broadway and performance inspired. Inspired by Broadway musicals with a Jazz base.
• Tap — Rhythm, style, and sound. Focuses on flexibility of the knees and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement.
• Lyrical — Movement, fluidity, passion, and storytelling. An extension of Ballet and Jazz.
• Adult Classes — Adults · 2 levels of Tap and soon Hip Hop. Intended for exercise and to foster a passion for dance. All skill levels are welcome.
• Encore Company — For dancers who are fully dedicated to their craft. Opportunity to compete in local competitions, gain extra performance opportunities, and learn about the dance industry as a whole.
• Teen Tap — Teens · A fun and upbeat class for new teens to Tap. Can be taken as a stand-alone class.
• Strength & Tech — Three levels added this year. Focuses on increasing strength as a dancer and technical skills. Required for all Company members but open to any dancers wanting to improve their skills.
• All Abilities Dance "Blake's Class" — 4-14 years old · Focuses on building confidence, exploring movement, and improving mobility for disabled, d/Deaf, and neurodiverse dancers in a fun inclusive space. Free of charge.

Encore Dance Theatre says its mission is to provide professional dance instruction and to instill a passion for the art of dance in a safe, inclusive and high quality studio environment.

Classes begin 8/17. Winter Show: 12/12. Recital Photo Days: TBD. Recital Dress Rehearsal: 6/18. Recital Day: 6/19. Scheduled closures listed: Labor Day 9/7, Halloween 10/31, Thanksgiving Break 11/23-11/28, Winter Break 12/21-1/2, Presidents Day Weekend 2/13-2/15, Spring Break 3/29-4/3. Tuition is calculated by total hours per week and billed monthly. 10% discount for multiple students from the same household. Tuition is pro-rated ahead of time to accommodate holidays and scheduled closures. Please reach out directly for class placement prior to registration.
