California Odyssey Soccer Club offers youth development leagues, competitive travel teams, academy programs, specialized training clinics, camps, and tournaments. The club also runs adult leagues in addition to its youth programming.

Founded in 2002, California Odyssey Soccer Club is described as a private 501(c)(3) non-profit youth soccer club and a premier, highly rated soccer club based in California’s Central Valley. California Odyssey Soccer Club participates in Elite Clubs National League, Elite Clubs National Regional League, and NorCal Premier Soccer. Over the years, the club has garnered national recognition for its programming, with players achieving over 200 titles at the state, regional, and national levels. The club reports that it has helped over 200 young players reach collegiate soccer, with 15 players entering the US Soccer Youth National pool and three selected for the US Soccer U17 Men’s National Residency. More than 40 alumni have played for Fresno Fuego, and several alumni have gone on to play for various MLS teams, including one signing with Liverpool F.C.
The leadership team includes ECNL Development Director Juan Porras, who brings over 20 years of experience in elite youth and academy environments, multiple ECNL and Girls Academy National Championships, and leadership roles across MLS NEXT, ECNL, and national development programs. Club senior leadership also includes Vitalis Otieno and Yaw Danso. The club’s Board of Directors describes being energized by the leadership team’s impact across the Central Valley, including expanding access to national platforms and creating clearer pathways for local athletes. The club also states that it provides resources and support for players interested in college soccer, including creating highlight reels and connecting with college scouts.
