Toddler Dance Classes – Movin’ & Groovin’ at America’s Kids In Motion includes beginner ballet movements, creative movement, guided movement, and playful movement activities. Children take part in music, imaginative activities, imaginative storytelling, basic ballet positions, basic elements of dance, basic elements of gymnastics, and beginner ballet activities. The program also includes beginner dance performances.
• Ages: 18 months–3 years old
• Schedule: Customer service desk available Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for class information and enrollment
Since 1997, The America’s Kids Way has created proud and impactful moments for families in the Fresno and Clovis areas. The organization has expanded to ten facilities and offers over 1200 weekly classes. Its programs are nationally recognized on all levels and serve thousands of families each week. The mission states that prioritizing fun and celebrating achievements is the driving force behind all they do. The facilities include over 40,000 square feet of youth activity space, hand-painted murals, a mini stage, a foam pit, and ninja and dance facilities, and the organization pledges that tutus are part of the uniform. The gymnastics program is led by USAG certified instructors.
The leadership team includes Lori Klatt (President of AKIM), Ashley Gorden (Director of Dance), Aubree Robbins (Ballet Conservatory Department Leader), Rachel Durant (Commercial Dance Department Leader), and Hunter Mikus (Preschool Dance Department Leader), along with directors and leaders for gymnastics, swimming, preschool, ninja, operations, marketing, finance, enrollment, and human resources.
