Colusa County Family Resource Center – Summer Camps and Activities for Children offers summer camps and activities for children. The program also includes programming for children throughout the year, along with an open play space available on certain days and times.

Through its mission, the Colusa County Family Resource Center states that it offers a wide variety of services to children, families, and members of the community, including early learning and school readiness programs that prepare young children for routines and learning environments upon entering school, and that it believes each family is strong in its own way and is there to help families succeed. The program’s unique features include application assistance, CalFresh enrollment, parent support groups, My Baby & Me and My Toddler & Me classes, Growing Start parent playgroups, nutrition information, skill trainings, support for families in need or in crisis, health and safety and violence prevention programming, translation services, assistance with basic needs, wrap around services, home visiting, services for children with special needs, Girls on the Run, and food distribution. The center describes a comfortable, family friendly environment and offers connection to child care, housing, job training, and many other supports, as well as connection to a multitude of resources and community agencies, and it facilitates referrals and expedited processes with partnering agencies.
