About
The Compton Conservatory of Music teaches students how to read notes written on sheet music, learn how to sing songs, and play the instrument of their choice. The program also includes activities where students work together in harmony and develop their critical thinking skills, including understanding the “how and why” of lessons taught. The program emphasizes the importance of practice as a key step to building confidence, self-esteem, routines, and dreams, and states that consistent attendance is required in order to grow.
