Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer offers competitive youth soccer through leagues, State Cup, tournaments, College Showcases where applicable, and both indoor and outdoor practice sessions. The program includes an 8U Academy and a Fall Only Program, with a minimum of two outdoor training sessions per week plus one indoor session, weather allowing. Players participate on smaller rosters, and all fit players are mandated to play at least 50% of every game.

Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer is a local youth soccer club and non-profit organization formed in 2024, following a two-year affiliation with Diablo Valley Futbol Club, with roots in local youth soccer for more than 40 years. The club is community-based and focuses on competitive soccer for elite youth players in the communities of Martinez, Pleasant Hill and surrounding areas, and is part of a player pathway that includes partnerships with Mustang Soccer and AYSO. Mt Diablo Soccer Association (MDSA) AYSO Region 223, Concord AYSO Region 305, Pleasant Hill/Martinez Soccer Association (PHMSA) AYSO Region 281, and AYSO Area 2C are connected through this broader network, including the Alliance Program and EPIC (Special Needs) program.
The club states that its non-profit status allows it to prioritize player development over profit by keeping registration fees accessible, investing in coaching, equipment, and facilities, and focusing on inclusivity and community. Season fees include a USSF Qualified Head Coach, club, NorCal and State Cup registration fees, fields, referee fees, insurance, and up to three tournament entries, including College Showcases where applicable. Nike uniforms are branded with Mustang Soccer badges and include home and away jerseys, shorts, socks, a training sweater, a training shirt, and a Nike backpack. The club has a partnership with Mustang Soccer, which has been established in Bay Area soccer since 1972.
Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer has open registration, and anyone can register to try out with no geographical restrictions. The program follows AYSO philosophies with an emphasis on fun, sportsmanship, player development, positive coaching, and balanced teams.
