Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer offers competitive youth soccer, including formal tryouts for players seeking a roster spot. Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer is a community-based soccer club dedicated to developing elite players from ages 7 to 19 and is PROUD TO PARTNER WITH MUSTANG SOCCER and AYSO Partners. Season fees include leagues, State Cup and 3 extra tournaments, and All Inclusive Season 2026-27 Fees include tournament entries, Club, NorCal and State Cup Registration Fees, fields, referee fees, insurance, and up to 3 tournament entries, including college showcases where applicable. The club offers minimum outdoor 2 training sessions per week plus one indoor session (weather allowing), smaller rosters and lower roster sizes, and mandates a minimum of 50% playing time for all fit players in every game. Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer uses Nike uniforms branded with Mustang Soccer badges, including a Nike red home jersey, shorts and socks, a Nike white away jersey with white/black shorts and white socks, a Nike training sweater and training shirt, and a Nike backpack.
Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer was formed in 2024 following a two-year affiliation with Diablo Valley Futbol Club, and it partners with Mustang Soccer, which has been established in Bay Area soccer since 1972. The program’s mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on AYSO’s Six Philosophies. These include Open Registration, Everybody Plays with at least 50% of every game, Balanced Teams, Good Sportsmanship, Positive Coaching, and Player Development, and the club states that it aims to make participation affordable for all families. Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer lists Pete Laverick in its leadership team and notes that its coaches include a USSF Qualified Head Coach and experienced, qualified and knowledgeable coaches.
