Aquatic Safety Inc offers swim instruction that includes learn-to-swim lessons, Parent Tot, Stroke Clinic, Pre-Swim Team, Adaptive Aquatics, Special Needs Lessons, Boy Scout Merit Badges, Open Water Swimming Orientation, snorkeling, and assistance for beginning and advanced triathletes. The program also offers American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR classes. Lessons take place in a purpose-built, heated pool that is 30 feet by 50 feet and 13 feet deep.
• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Lessons run every half hour, with AM and PM class options offered 2 or 4 days per week on Monday/Wednesday and/or Tuesday/Thursday in sessions ranging from 1 to 4 weeks, with all standard classes 30 minutes, Stroke Clinic 45 minutes, and Pre-Swim Team 60 minutes.
Aquatic Safety Inc is owned and operated by Steve and Jennifer Nelson, who are also the teachers. Collectively, the staff has over 65 years of swim instruction experience and 20 years as American Red Cross Instructors in Water Safety, First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding, along with experience in competitive swimming, coaching, U.S. Marine Corps Water Safety Survival instruction, police Search and Rescue Dive Teams, and as a P.A.D.I. Dive Master. They have 35 years as owners and operators of Aquatic Safety Inc and started teaching learn-to-swim lessons in Michigan over 35 years ago. For 25 years, thousands of families from Corona, Riverside, Norco, Chino Hills, Lake Elsinore, Orange County, and other areas have used Aquatic Safety Inc for swim instruction. The program offers semi-private basic learn-to-swim lessons with 2–3 students, Parent Tot, Stroke Clinic, and Pre-Swim Team groups with 4–6 students, and 1- or 2-person private swim lessons, as well as special classes upon request for various water-related needs and trained, certified Red Cross lifeguards for beach or pool parties. The program states that children cannot be safe around the water without learning water safety as well as actually learning to swim.
