EDJ Academy Jiu-Jitsu Programs offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training through an Adult Jiu-Jitsu Program, a Kids Jiu-Jitsu Program, a Women's Only Jiu-Jitsu Program, a Competition Class, and Private Classes. The program includes a Competition Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program for those with a competitive drive and focuses on self-defense, technique, and fitness. The Kids Jiu-Jitsu Program focuses on discipline, confidence, coordination, self-defense, respect, teamwork, and a love for martial arts. The Women's Only Jiu-Jitsu Program provides a safe, supportive space for women to train, learn self-defense, and build strength. EDJ Academy is under the expert guidance of 4th-degree black belt Juan Pablo Garcia, who leads EDJ Academy and its affiliate schools and has earned his purple, brown, and black belts under Carlos Gracie Jr. As a competitor, Juan Pablo Garcia has won multiple Jiu-Jitsu and MMA tournaments, including titles such as Florida State No-Gi Champion, IBJJF Long Beach Open Champion, multiple submission-only events winner, and NAGA Expert Division Champion. In 2014, he moved to Corona, CA, and opened his own school, EDJ Academy (formerly PTT Corona), after moving to the U.S. permanently in 2008 and officially joining Gracie Barra, and by 2011 he had earned his purple, brown, and black belts under Carlos Gracie Jr.
