Masterworks Kids' Fine Art Studio

Masterworks Kids' Fine Art Studio offers year-round programs that include KIDS’ CLASSES, Summer Camps, Saturday workshops, Art Parties, gallery events, and children’s artwork exhibits. The studio also runs an ArtDrop subscription program that delivers ArtDrop creative projects to families at home. In addition to kids’ offerings, the program includes Adult Art & Unwind classes and monthly in-studio Adult Art & Unwind sessions listed under Year-Round Programs.

• Schedule: Fall 2026 classes meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the afternoons between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm, with separate groups for ages 6–8, 8–10, 10–11, and 12–14 from mid-September to early December

The mission of MASTERWORKS FINE ART STUDIO is to offer art education for creative children and adults in-house, virtually, and through the ARTDROP subscription program. The kids’ classes and activities focus on advanced fine art skills through techniques primarily based on Master artists through the ages, along with cultural art exploration. Adult Art & Unwind classes are offered in-house, on location, and virtually for adults and students ages 14 and up.

Masterworks Kids' Fine Art Studio is led by Lisa Jones. Ms. Jones shares her curriculum with several local schools, including Lycee Francais in Corte Madera, Prestwood Elementary in Sonoma, Rancho Elementary in Novato, Neil Cummins Elementary in Corte Madera, Marin Day Schools in Mill Valley, and Saint Marks School in Terra Linda. Children’s artwork from the program is regularly displayed in exhibits such as Celebrate Arts and the Marin County Fair each year.

One parent reports that a daughter has been enrolled at Masterworks since age 6 and, at age 12, “absolutely loves it,” noting that Lisa has supported the child’s growth as an artist and encouraged creativity. Another parent who has known Lisa for more than 20 years and whose children attended her classes, as well as taking adult workshops personally, describes Lisa as passionate about art and teaching and recommends the classes for learning about art processes, art history, cultures, and types of art.
