Family Programs offers Art & Play sessions for young children and their caregivers. The Family Program Art & Play session includes time for families to participate together in art and play activities.
• Ages: 0–2 years old
• Schedule: Family Program Art & Play (Ages 0–2) on May 13 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a 2-hour session duration
Since its founding, the museum has been a leader in presenting and preserving the art of our time. The museum’s program engages and sparks meaningful encounters with art and ideas. Thirteen visionary women came together in 1962 to open the museum, then called the Fine Arts Patrons Pavilion Gallery. The new UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art brings together two legacies of collecting, research, and exhibition, creating one of the most comprehensive art collections in California. Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne is the founder of the studio Morphosis and co-founder of the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
