AYSO Core - Primary Program

AYSO Core - Primary Program is the AYSO Primary program. It spans U6 through U16 divisions and serves ages 4 to 16. AYSO’s Six Philosophies are Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. Everyone Plays® means no child spends their soccer experience sitting on the bench and every child plays at least half of every game.

The AYSO Core Program is described as the nation’s leading grassroots soccer program. It is another name for AYSO’s Primary program, which is home to the majority of AYSO players. Balanced Teams means teams are balanced to make playing soccer about the experience, not wins or losses.
