Yo! Camp

Yo! Camp is a seven-day overnight experience that uses a carefully crafted curriculum and hands-on activities in an environment free from the regular day-to-day. The program is described as distinct and immersive, all about personal discovery, and ridiculously fun, with delicious and nutritious food and cabin-style lodging included. Registration for Yo! Camp has sold out for the past two years.

Yo! Camp’s mission is to build a community where people can grow their identity, strengthen their connections, and make an impact in the Japanese American community. It provides a special experience for youth in the Japanese American community in a safe, hands-on environment for family fun, personal discovery, and life-lasting memories. The program is non-denominational, all inclusive, and is described as the first overnight camp in its community to bring together campers from all spaces and backgrounds. It is run by an all-star staff, described as superheroes, bringing together the brightest, most seasoned staff members to create the best-of-the-best of camp programs, and it is built to encourage friendship, mentorship, and the discovery of the self.
