Culver City Soccer Lessons

Culver City Soccer Lessons offers group soccer lessons, semi-private soccer lessons, 1-on-1 and private soccer lessons, as well as small group coaching for fewer than four players and large group coaching for four to six players. The program also offers soccer camps, including All-Day Summer Camps, an All-Day Thanksgiving Soccer Camp 2023, and training with the RISE FC Club Soccer Team.

The program’s philosophy is to provide youth players with a secure, safe environment to develop and grow their love for soccer and themselves. Coaches work with players on and off the ball to develop in-game skills and mindset, and they observe players with their current teams to build individual training programs. The larger group environment is described as ideal for friends or members of a team looking for extra training and specific skill development, and coaches provide open group camps each summer. The RISE FC Club Soccer Team prioritizes player development and fun first, and the All-Day Thanksgiving Soccer Camp 2023 focuses on finishing and goal scoring, as well as goalkeeping, and is geared to making the campers’ fall soccer season a more meaningful and enjoyable experience for both first-time AYSO players and experienced Club-level campers. All-Day Summer Camps are offered with limited space and June and August soccer camps, and a free initial 20-minute player evaluation is used to gauge soccer capabilities and skills and to develop the initial training program.

The technical director, Coach Dan, is licensed by the US Soccer Federation and the National Federation of High Schools and grew up on the Westside. Coach Dan has coached Club, High School and AYSO Extras in the US, as well as adult men’s teams in Korea, and was a varsity letterman at UC Berkeley with international experience in Korea, Tunisia, Italy and Israel. The program notes that experienced coaches and staff bring a mix of experience from around the world, and that head coaches give students confidence on and off the field to support their development as players and people.
