Culver City Soccer Lessons offers group soccer lessons, semi-private soccer lessons, and private one-on-one soccer lessons. The program also offers small group coaching for fewer than four players, large group coaching for four to six players, private group soccer lessons in both small and large formats, a summer soccer camp, an All-Day Thanksgiving Soccer Camp 2023, and a free player evaluation.

• Schedule: Free player evaluation sessions are 20 minutes. Private soccer lessons, small group (less than 4 players) coaching, and large group (4–6 players) coaching are 50-minute sessions, with private soccer lessons including 45 minutes of training and 5 minutes at the end to discuss a player development scorecard with a parent.

The program’s philosophy is to provide youth players with a secure, safe environment to develop and grow their love for soccer and themselves. An initial, free 20-minute evaluation is required to gauge a player’s soccer capabilities and skills and to develop the initial training program, and the location for this evaluation is determined by the player. Coaches work with players on and off the ball to develop in-game skills and mindset, and they observe players with their current teams to build each player’s individual training program. Coaches have a mix of experience from around the world, and head coaches give students confidence on and off the field.
The technical director, Coach Dan, is licensed by the US Soccer Federation and the National Federation of High Schools. As technical director, Coach Dan has coached Club, High School, and AYSO Extras in the US, as well as adult men’s teams in Korea. He was a varsity letterman at UC Berkeley and has international experience in Korea, Tunisia, Italy, and Israel.
Coaches provide open group camps each summer, including all-day summer camps offered in June and August, and space is limited for these all-day summer camps with advance reservation encouraged. The All-Day Thanksgiving Soccer Camp 2023 focuses on finishing and goal scoring and on goalkeeping, and it is geared to making the campers’ fall soccer season a more meaningful and enjoyable experience for both first-time AYSO players and experienced Club-level campers.
