Exceptional Children’s Foundation was founded in 1946. It states a mission to provide the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with special needs, empowering them to reach their greatest potential. The organization has earned the highest standard six-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and it supports nearly 4,000 children, adults, and their families at 14 service sites, in clients’ homes, and in community settings throughout L.A.
